Who we are
Tommage is operated by Sloan Contracting ("we", "us"). We act as the data controller for personal information collected through the Tommage app and website.What we collect
- Account info: email address, display name, optional avatar and bio.
- Sale listings you post: title, description, address, location coordinates, photos, tags.
- Activity: sales you save, reviews you leave, sign-in timestamps.
- Device & log data: IP address, browser type, error logs.
- Payment-related identifiers (handled by our reseller Paddle, not us — see below).
Why we use it
To create and secure your account, show your sales to other users, send service notifications, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with legal obligations, and improve the product. Legal bases include performance of contract, our legitimate interests, your consent (where applicable), and legal obligation.
Who we share it with
- Service providers (cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics, error monitoring) acting as our processors.
- Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for order processing, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
- Other Tommage users — anything you publish on a sale listing or review is public by design.
- Authorities or professional advisers where required by law.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period to comply with legal, tax and dispute-resolution obligations. You can request deletion at any time.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal information, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Contact us at the email shown in the app to exercise these rights. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Australia, the OAIC).
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit, access controls and least-privilege practices. No system is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your data.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar storage that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We don't run marketing cookies.
International transfers
Some of our processors are based outside Australia. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect your information.
Changes
We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted in-app.
